Who We Serve

Decisions made by the Board of Trustees are based on the healthcare needs of the people and the southwest and south central Michigan communities we serve. Our primary focus is on assisting essential local projects that will help make comprehensive health care services accessible to everyone.

Borgess Foundation is a qualified charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, ID #23-722258.

The mission of Borgess Health is to be a values-based health system continuing the healing mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph and responding to the needs of those we serve. Our commitment to those we serve respects the dignity of human life and actively responds to the needs of the poor.
